I had an operation to declutter my intestines as they were blocked and I was fitted with a 90cm bypass, and half my liver was removed. So as I said it is a strange cancer and has spread to the scull, the ribs, neck, back and collar bones.
Sometimes I would get to the front door and then had to turn around, and the last couple of times I actually made to halfway accross the road before I had to run and this continued for a couple of more visits and then it was all over and I was fine. We visited some of our neighbours one evening and while walking to the front door and saying our goodbyes, I had a sudden onset of diarrhea and within the next 15 minutes visited the bathroom 9 times. The biggest problem with this type of cancer is that you do not know what to expect will happen in the next 15 minutes. Unfortunately I live on medication as I take around 16 pain killers per day, and then some cortizone for rheumatiod arthritus and to combat the excessive histamine that these tumours produce. We started talking when we met, and we still continue with that for the past nearly 50 years and married for nearly 48 years. My current situation is that I am spending just about all my time at home, sitting down and either reading up on subjects, writing new articles that I feel I need to give a Biblical perspective to, or just enjoying the companionship of my wife. Unfortunately for myself, I am suffering from Carcinoid cancer, nowadays called NET cancer or Neuro Endoctrine Tumour cancer, a slow growing but devious cancer.
